Audition Ground work
Friends,
Thank you for being part of our JTA community.
It is a blessing that we will be able to continue working together and creating, even during such unusual circumstances.
This season will prove to be very challenging but also incredibly rewarding.
Our first challenge is to establish guidelines for our auditions.
I would like to suggest a few options.
1. For those who feel comfortable being in the auditorium...far apart from one another and with masks on, then I would like to have a "read-through" audition on October 14th at 1:00 p.m.
Each cast member will choose two-three characters that they would like to audition for.
During the "audition-read-through", each actor will have the chance to portray at least two of their top three choices.
If the weather permits, we will be outside, under our favorite tent in the courtyard.
2. For those who would prefer not to be in school, then you will audition via Zoom. I will ask for some members of the JTA to be part of that audition process and join us on the zoom call.
Remember to indicate your preference of being part of the "in-person" read through or on Zoom on your audition form.
ALL FORMS NEED TO BE RETURNED BY OCTOBER 8TH!!!
