The Dining Room Update

Friends,

J is under the weather tonight.  He will rest tomorrow.

We will run the entire show Sunday, starting at 11:30 a.m.

No cell phones, no talking.  Be supportive-respect the process!!!!

January 31st-Performance Workshop

Dear Friends,

This Sunday, the following scenes will be rehearsed with J Hernandez. I encourage you to be as off book as possible.

Reminders:
ALL cast members will be quiet during the rehearsal period.  No cell phones on Sunday (or in the future) while people are working.

There will not be a specified "lunch break".  You should bring food/drinks....but you must find a time to eat when you are not working with J.

J will be working with us more than once.  Bring pencils, paper, your scripts, and a wonderful and creative attitude to this Sunday's workshop.

BE ON TIME!!!!

If you are late, your scene (if scheduled) will not be seen on that day!

Please read the  research questions carefully and come to rehearsal with all questions answered-in depth.

1.  What is the most challenging aspect (for you) in regards to this production?
2.  What is the relationship between you and the other character's in your scene (s)? How do you feel about them?
3. What does WASP stand for?  How is this group defined? (by what actions, behaviors, leisure activities, jobs, relationships)
4. How does your character (s) "walk"?
5. What is the "voice" of your character?  Young?  Old? 
6.  What does your character want to achieve in your scene?
7.  What is the time period/location of your scene? City? State?
8. Are there common themes throughout the play?
