ALICE!!!

Diane Breen to Jenkintown Community Page
want to give a huge Shout Out to the cast, crew, musicians and Producer/ director Alyssa Davidson at Jenkintown High School last night for their amazing presentation of the musical- A... My Name Is Alice. They are a hugely talented group of young women ( & a few young men in brief parts) it was engaging and although an 80’s period piece, was worldly relevant and at times both poignant and funny. Don’t miss this if you are free either tonight of tomorrow evening. This rises to a level of professionalism not often seen in a high school production. One of the best Ive ever seen. Congratulations to all of them!! I will be returning tonight to see it again!!

David Arms Brilliant.
Any show that has you laughing out loud and tearing up in the same performance is hitting its mark. There were so many highlights. You guys should be so proud.
It's funny, I saw Lys in this show when she was working with Hedgerow theater yea
rs ago - I fell in love with it then. I have seen it several times since and tonight’s show was just good as any of them.
There is something about young actresses playing characters that range in age and experience like they do in these vignettes. You are all at a point in your lives where great change is about to take place – the emotion of knowing that some of you are sharing the stage with friends and colleagues for the final time just adds to the power and emotion of this particular show.
Enjoy the remaining performances – take it in and remain in the moment as best you can.
You should all be so proud.
